BEGINNER LEVEL - FOUNDATIONAL
A second entry point in to the school where you can be flexible with your attendance and come as often as you like. Beginner level is an on-going foundational class. Attend two classes per week to see consistent and quicker progress.
We recommend you joining Beginner level classes if you have come from another style of yoga, to become familiar with the teaching and learning approach before joining General classes.
GENERAL LEVEL - PROGRESSIVE
Student’s who are attending one or two classes regularly per week and show readiness for further advancement in postures and sequences are able to join this class. This class is for the developing practitioner, seeking a deeper application of practice and study.
STRETCH & RESTORE
The practice of Yoga is well-demonstrated to reduce the physical effects of stress on the body, and has even been found to lower cortisol levels. This effect is noticeable, and it is one of the primary reasons why people often take up Yoga.
Restorative yoga is a gift to oneself in this highly stimulated and competitive world, helping to recognise the rest our body needs.
Postures in this class are mostly supported and held for longer periods, to release muscular tensions and tightness, bring renewal from fatigue and stress and to give a certain physiological effect. In the process you get to know the relationship between body mind, mood and breath. This is a direct way of knowing one ‘Self’, uncovering layers, emotionally, mentally and physically.
EASY PACE (soon to start)
This class provides a gentle and easy pace to suit someone who wishes to start with the basics, go slowly, mindfully acknowledge their own needs, whilst cultivating an awareness in their posture and breath. These classes provide space and time to wind down, connect deeply and energise the body and mind. Breathing practices and meditation will be incorporated to provide a sense of balance. Props and supports will also be offered to access postures for highest benefit to the individual.
