Yoga for Teenagers
For students aged 12 to 18 years. Yoga is great for everybody – especially teenagers. At a time often characterised by a variety of stresses from school to home, to peer relationships, young people can experience periods of intense self doubt, confusion and anger.
Yoga can prove an excellent resource for children and teenagers as it helps equip them with the tools they need learn to support themselves through challenges, release tension in a constructive way, and learn how to negotiate their way towards adulthood.
Our Yoga for Youth classes helps our youth endure stress, develop resilience, and improve self-esteem. Taught in the calm, supportive and invigorating studio at Unfold Yoga, the sequence of postures are suitable for those with no yoga experience and are designed to both support and energise young people.
Students can come along at any time during the term. The classes are on a week by week basis, no prerequisite of class attendance is required.
These classes are taught by Loretta Voivodich, Founder and Director of Unfold Yoga.
